Default 94.5 Medalist steering play

I have a 94.5 Medalist and there is a lot of play in the steering, a good 5 inches or so, can some one help me with some suggestions for fixing this issue? What parts should I look at replacing?

Thanks for your help.

Have somebody move the wheel back & forth within the play area while you look at all the tie rod ends......I doubt the tie rods have that much play in them ... more likely the steering box rack and pinion need to be replaced.... they make a rebuild kit.

Your steering box is worn out, most likely from lack of grease over the past 15 years of use. The best way to fix is to replace the steering unit with a new one...
