you can,t go wrong with amesoil........no matter what the engine calls for 50 to 1 100 to 1 35 to 1 all you do is mix 8oz amesoil to 6 gallon of gas and you can put it in everything......................i use it in everything i have thats gas/oil mix all from one 6 gal. can my boat motors weed eaters trimmers you name it if its a gas/oil mix 8oz of amesoil to 6 gal of gas............and hardly any smoke at all and every engine fires up really nice.......i also use their oils in my autos from motor oil to trans fluid to rearend grease and their lube for any bearings.....................great stuff but not as cheap as regular stuff but you use a lot less of it..........................................

Y'all have pretty well convinced me to unplug the oil pump on mine and go with the mix. I have an '89 Marathon with a 3pg. Like Dave, I think I've got the final major bugs out of it. New exhaust stack, re-wired, new fuel pump, new carb...paint/tires coming up next. (This is an addiction, isn't it?)
Dave stated "the manual says". The MANUAL?!? Who has one of those! I'd love to get my hands on both the owner's and the service manual, but don't feel like paying more for them than I did for the cart! Any suggestions? I would also be glad to painstakingly scan it and post it if someone will loan it to me. Brent |
