High Altitude
I have just purchased a 1994 G9AK Gas Yamaha Golf Cart. It ran ok at low altitudes. Brought it to my summer home which is plus or minus 4,000 feet in altitude. The cart miss-fires and just doesn't run properly at low speed. The parts manual says for high altitude (no specific height idenitified) to use #67.5 Ap instead of the #72.5 Std. I am trying to purchase a high altitude jet but need to know if anyone else had this problem and what advice they can offer or what jet number to use? Thanks - Inspector Nick

Re: High Altitude
I thought the same thing. But it should run fine at 4000. Mine was fine at 6500'. You have another problem, possibly with a dirty or corroded ground wire connection, air filter box not sealed properly, or maint. issues in general.
