Default Pulling the steering wheel on a G16A

Anything special needed to do this? I popped the cover off the wheel, took off the nut, but it still won't budge. Is there some kind of special puller, if so I don't see where it would attach.

I gave it a couple pops with the rubber mallet, but didn't want to get carried away.

thanks in advance for your help.

Make sure you have someone to catch it when it flys off

Back the nut off until its flush at the end. then pull up and tap (hit) it with a hammer. this way you dont mess up your threads and you dont hit yourself in the face with the steering wheel

Put the nut back flush and use your knees under the wheel to pull on it while tapping the cenetr with a hammer. Takes a couple of hits but it will come off
