Default Herky-Jerky when slow

Ok, so I believe this is that Gizmo know as the ITS (The round part that the tube-like thing goes into) And then there is the tube gizmo....which is called the _________ fill in the blank.

I've upgraded my controller and my microswitch is new, all of my wiring is upgraded and brand new, and I'm getting a little herky-jerky "movement" when I'm going very slow in forward.

Now, I'm guessing there needs to be an adjustment to the tube gizmo?

Any help on what to loosen, do I disconnect power before I wrench anything loose here? And what direction should I move anything? Forward or backward?

Thanks.

I know enough to be dangerous......Dave
