Default Club car big block help

Im looking to swap a big block into my 95 cc. Ive been looking at the 23hp vanguard upgrade kit available from cpp. I have also been looking at the same motor on ebay, and at a few stores in my area. I can buy just the motor for a little over $950. Is it worth the extra money to buy the complete kit? I am a certified welder, so fabricating engine mounting brackets and the exhaust system is not an issue. Also if i do buy just the engine can i use my original clutch from the stock motor? I am new to the golf cart world, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yes it is worth it.
I just installed a 18hp in a 2000 carry all, there pretty much same motor setup. There will be no fabricating on the CC. Drill 4 holes and notch side of motor carrier for oil filter. The kit comes with ignition switch, wiring, new primary clutch and new secondary clutch, drive belt, muffler and 2 aluminum spacers to level engine.
You could possible save a few dollars(DOUBT IT) and you would be ordering parts from 2-3 different places to get everything you need.
Call Tom at CPP and get the kit. If theres a problem you only have one place to call to get it resolved.
