Can’t find the vin on my Yamaha G1
Have this Yamaha and can not find the vin tag to see what year this is ? Looked at the picture in the sticky’s but no luck where can it be

Driver side rear frame bumper support- may be covered by paint but you should be able to see it. It is engraved in the metal

wish i could post a video here and make it a sticky! ive got 2 videos i post often on the G1 g3 Facebook page if your a member
1 shows the chassis serial location and one show the engine serial location there is no tag per say. its just stamped on the chassis below the rear bumper |

Could also be on the frame tube between the rear shocks, facing straight upward.

Got it thanks guys was on the upper frame of the rear ended, it’s a 1979 any secondary clutch diagram so I can repair it lol
