Thought I had a bad solenoid but…

Hey all, wondering if you have any ideas to about what my issue could be or how to further troubleshoot…

So my cart stopped moving and had no clicking coming from the solenoid. Batteries are all charged and good. I measured across the two small terminals of the solenoid with the pedal down and had good voltage. So I replaced the solenoid. Installed the new one and it still won’t go, still no click with key in the on position and the pedal pushed. Curiously, I have discovered that if I turn the key to the lights on position (this is a mpt800 with front lights) and press the pedal the solenoid does click, but no movement. Now I am worried I have potentially introduced some wiring issues…
