Starter Dragging?
While playing golf yesterday my 2013 Yamaha started to delay moving forward when I stepped on the gas to move forward from tee box to green. The battery voltage briefly dropped and eventually the cart started. This happened intermittently while playing and it didn't do this on the way home. First I'll have the battery checked because this morning when I turned the key on I only had 9 volts. That will be my first step and check my wiring and connections. Any secondary added circuits were shut off.

Re: Starter Dragging?
If you only had 9 volts, you've got a totally shot battery. <12 volts is considered "dead", 9V is indicative of some bad cells. Buy a new starting battery and enjoy the next 4-5 years trouble free.

Re: Starter Dragging?
It looks that way. I've had it sitting for two days idle, no active circuits. battery sits at 9 volts. I'll pull it out at first chance and bring it to get it checked. I don't think it's more than two years old but we have two carts. Can't remember which was replaced last.
