Looks like a Scorpion snowmobile engine with a Salsbury clutch. Unless they used a different crankshaft, it should have the standard 30mm 1:10 taper as used on many snowmobiles, Yamaha golf carts and some Ez-go engines.

What is the displacement of this engine? There should be a plate riveted to the engine somewhere stating this, if it is like the snowmobile engines.

Go was bought by a company called Melix , most posts are correct about the motor ( was used in snow mobiles and so Ultra light planes used them )Mine was :Model = 410 Serial = 8-1156
