![]() GP...Do you have any motorcycler shops in your area? If so go by and see if they will let you take some pics of one and some measurements. Shouldn't be too defficult to build. Sounds like an excellent idea to have one of these. I was thinking about a mini car lift myself, one that I could drive on and be able to walk under to have access to the bottom. My problrm is at 6ft 4in I would almost have to put it thru the roof in order to walk under. But if you get to build a lift rack please post pics of the build and the finished product. Thanks Rodger

![]() GP , I saw one today at Harbor Freight, that was a foot pump and had a 1000lb rating. I think it was like $299.00 (maybe 399.00). I looked at getting one like the picture you posted but decided that for the money I would rather add a few hundred more dollars and get a inexpensive auto 2 post lift so it would be easier to get under. I service alot of carts and the table top they would have to be jacked up to change oil.

![]() Craig ya the 2 post lift would be the way to go for servicing carts. but i was looking for more of a platform type. i like to use it as kinda of a frame jig for welding and modifying can you buy a 2 post for a few more hundred? that's a good deal. thanks for the info

![]() Keep us posted GP> Looks like a guy could stretch the moto lift to fit a cart.
We were talking about this in the shop just today...Maybe you can sell your design...after you share it with the rest of us of course. ![]() |
