Some minor stuff today: New snazzy wheel covers, new side mirrors (removed old one), and a new USB outlet which turned out to be DOA. Installed a horn but still waiting for the RHOX adapter to the harness.

Got a magnetic BT speaker and then "discovered" the entire frame and roof supports are Aluminum (non-magnetic). Improvising a solution tomorrow...

New 5-panel review view mirror (learned it's better to mount to the roof supports than to the roof itself which is too jiggly).

New USB power (with aluminum frame instead of DOA plastic version).

Mounted a stainless steel mending bracket to the body behind the seat to serve as a magnetic mounting point for a bluetooth speaker (learned there is almost nothing magnetic on a 1999 DS).

Installed under-carriage LED lights. Had to be creative since there are really no continuous surfaces to mount the strips. Ended up gluing some some shaped wood remnants along the sides (under the floor) to create good surfaces.

More stickers

New steering wheel and then I think I may be done for now (except for stickers).

I replaced our 15 year old D&D motor today. It was very easy. Took off our rear seats and then the access panel. We replaced it through that. Our splines were making a "chattering" noise on deacceleration and coasting. The motor wasn't in mad shape but you could definitely see wear on the spindles. The new D&D motor cleared up that noise.

Finishing up the addition of a new transaxle assembly on my 85' CC DS.
I couldn't find one gear so I had to replace the whole thing.

I replace the front jakes gas shocks with something little bit softer, along with removing all the springs, except for the main spring out of the rear packs and going with airbags, what a huge difference in ride quality!

Replaced my speed sensor yesterday. Sat night heard a weird / bad mechanical noise and cart started acting real weird. The magnet inside the sensor was in about 15 pieces. Was pretty easy to fix (not much of an expert on carts). Thanks Amazon same day delivery was back up and running in under 24 hours.
