Fairplay Cart Issues (pics) Help!

I purchased this Fairplay cart a week ago and the guy says the batteries are bad and it needs a forward/reverse switch. I installed new batteries(a nice used set) (6) 8-Volt setup. Batteries are hot (4 volts but I did not replace the forward/reverse switch. I am not sure that's the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

controller is a Kinetek Controls Model KCCA0004-0027 (pic attached)

There are only 2 wires that go to the forward/reverse switch and it does light up.

I checked the fuses and they are both good. I have not been able to find the controller tho.

Also the battery meter does not work, and I put a volt meter on the turn key and there is no power there either.

The cart is a 2008 model. I believe it is a ZX model from what I found on the net. Attached are more pics, thank you

The cart doesn't do anything. Turn the key on and nothing!!! Reverse switch does light up(at all times tho)....

I wish I could find schematics, I am lost at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys/gals

nevermind guys I sold it..... sold it cheap cut my losses and its gone!!!
