I just went for a run with the seat off, and clutches appear to be working. Belt is brand new stock

On a 4 stroke? Has that ever been an issue?

Another thing I noticed tonight is that I usually ride pretty slow up to this point, and then add the extra power for the hill which is where the problem always starts. Made it do it at another location tonight... Same deal, put along, then add power for a steep hill.

Because I made an incorrect observation that seemed completely rational without removing the seat and driving.
