Don't feel bad BB, I don't really understand what he's trying to say either. Kinda sounds like he's trying to shim out the pulsar coil. The only way to check the igniter is replacement with a known working one. Make sure your engine has a good ground and recheck wire connections. You can try the GM HEI conversion to replace the igniter. Look at the bottom of this post for diagram
