RPM Limiter RPM limit

Good afternoon all,

Now that I have my cart working well, I wanted to work on a minor speed upgrade. I’m not looking for crazy fast, maybe around 20mph.

What is the max RPM that the RPM limiter will allow?

I was going to remove the ground strap and bypass it, but wanted to see if this was even needed to get my cart to 20mph. I will get a tachometer and adjust the throttle cable to keep the rpms no higher than 4200-4400.

I read the stickies on the speed ideas but wanted to get a little more specific.

Buy a tach. Tiny tach works well.you might hit 20 mph if your clutches and belt are in excellent shape
