Default my club car gas golf cart has no power

Hello, my club car golf cart has no power to move at take off or going up hill. I replaced the solenoid and voltage regulator. when I remove the wire from the voltage regulator it is fine. It bogs down when I plug in the voltage regulator.

Should be posted in the Club Car Gas section.

Could be a bad regulator but you need to double check the connections to the regulator.
Red comes from the solenoid, should have 12V on it.
Black goes to ground.
Yellow from the Starter Gen. If the yellow is grounded or pinched against the frame it will make the starter gen try to run at full charge output and will strain the motor.
Make sure the yellow wire isn't damaged. Disconnect it from the regulator and starter gen and check with an ohmeter for continuity to the frame. Should be no continuity to frame or ground.

If that checks out the regulator is faulty.

I put in a new solenoid this is the 2nd new regulator ran a new yellow wire from regulator to starter-generator battery is putting out 12.8 volts. with regulator wire hooked up it is around 15.4 volts.it will start moving pretty well without the wire hooked up to the regulator and a fully charged battery but with the regulator hooked up it is harder to start and almost have to push it to get moving. once the RPM s get up it runs and moves quite well but not as good as without the regulator wire unhooked

OEM parts or Made-In-China parts?

That may be part of your issue. I've never had good luck with Chinese ignition parts on a golf car. Coils, RPM limiters, Voltage reducers, etc.... Especially ignition coils. I've only experienced it once, but people call me once a week talking about their new ignition coil from ebay doesn't work. New, right out of the box. The solenoids seem to work fine, but they don't seem to last as long as an OEM solenoid would. The OEM ignition parts are not that expensive. It's worth doing it right.

So I got a new OEM voltage regulator.same thing.seems even worse.had to push it to get moving .once I get the RPMs up then it will move OK .Bogs the engine down with yellow wire plugged in but as soon as I plug it runs and moves fine.but eventually battery runs down.SO FRUSTRATED. Any other ideas?

Can you post pics of where the wires are connected on your starter gen?
What brand is the starter gen?
Have you checked voltage at the battery with the engine cranking? Disconnect the spark plug wire so it wont start while testing.
