Melex (1985) Throttle stick open
We have a 1985 Melex, 36 volt, vin 169000, body style GC. Throttle stick WIDE OPEN sometimes, even when pedal is not depressed. This was not at all good for the garage door! Luckily no one was hurt. I'm assuming its something to do w/ a potentiometer somewhere in the circuit. Is this an assembly that can merely be ordered and replaced? Or is it more complex than that? Any tips on how to troubleshoot or what part to replace (and where to obtain) would be greatly appreciated.
