Default Voltages at ITS

I saw a post by roady89 that shows what the voltages should be at the ITS. Right when the solenoid kicks in it should be 1.0 +/- 0.3 volts. Fully depressed it should measure 2.7 +/- 0.5 volts. Are these taken at the black and white connnections with the wire connected, on the terminals of the ITS without the wires connected, or on the wires themselves when they are disconnected from the ITS?

Yeah I saw your sticky. I was hoping for something a little more simple. It doesn't tell me exactly what the voltage should be at the ITS. That is unless I couldn't interpret it. I tell you, all this electircal stuff is not me.

If it is mechanical I can handle it!! I can't see electricity!!

Is the ITS a go no go kind of item? Either it works or it doesn't?
