The questions begins
Started looking at it some today. Looks like the fuel pump is bad, gummed up. My question is I looked over in the tech on the parts manual. It's for a 2003 and mine is a 2000. Does these parts interchange ? Also looks like the carb is all gummed up. Is there a site other than EZ site that sells the parts at a better price. Also having to change all the tires out. I'll take some pictures now and once I get finished I'll post the pictures. The guy that gave it to me said it was running when they sat it up. It would not crank up when in gauging the gas pedal. They could jump the solenoid and it would crank. Going to order several electrical parts. Does anyone have a troubleshooting guide for the TXT?
Anyway looks like I will enjoy this site. My wife is excited about getting it running. Will also have to redo the seats, will probably do them myself. thanks, David |

Re: The questions begins
Welcome to the Madness! Sounds like you got a great free cart Lots of members have used parts for sale from upgrades etc. See the sale section... 94-2001 and some motor parts beyond that all interchange..... the carb & fuel pump may go back as far as 93 and be the same.... can you take the carb off anf boil it in water and douche it with carb cleaner? That might save some $ Good Luck
