Can the accelarator Module be removed from under the fron floor baord?

On My BBBuggy the Accelarator Module in under the Drivers side floor board
mat.( Like a 2003/4 ezgo)
whenever we go through the Creek- (90% of the time you only get your shoe bottoms wet) to get to a better turkey and deer spots it the 10% of the time we got water in the creek thats creates a problem

The module gets wet and the cart acts funky-

Is there an less complicated fix for this besides not driving through the creek?

There is no cheap alternative for that issue. Curtis does make a pedal assy that you could actually replace your entire accel assy with, but depending on the controller you have, you might have to change out the controller as well.
