Jakes sport shifter
Does anyone have the Jakes sportshifter for cc precedent/ds? Any thoughts on how it works/installation? http://www.jakesliftkits.com/liftkit...-model%29/7280

Re: Jakes sport shifter
I have an All Sports version of it, It was a pretty easy install, and it's amazing the people that ask about it!
I'd say go for it! |

Here is a pic of it installed on a Precedent. You won't believe how smooth it works.

Re: Jakes sport shifter
I think they look great, but it seems like they would cut into leg/knee room...?

Re: Jakes sport shifter
I think it looks great, and is nicer than that little black handle. I think i will go ahead and get one, as a early birthday gift to myself. I think it will only cut into your knee room a little.

Re: Jakes sport shifter
More leverage easier to shift, Knee room ?? I have not tried it yet but it looks like it would be easier to switch than the shorter lever?

Re: Jakes sport shifter
At any given time, my right knee is over the OEM shifter...
I'd like to drive a cart with a stick installed to feel it out. Hey OhioStateFan - you have another part to order! :) |

Re: Jakes sport shifter
Since my last post, I took off my All Sports shifter, sold it to a fellow BGW member, and put on a Jake's shifter! (for reasons I'd prefer not to get into!) Since this pic, a friend of mine gave me a "pistol grip" handle, (I'm an old Mopar fan) and, I've been extremely happy with it ever since! Yeah... just a little butt kissing! Looks great pro1! |
