Default Jakes sport shifter

Does anyone have the Jakes sportshifter for cc precedent/ds? Any thoughts on how it works/installation? http://www.jakesliftkits.com/liftkit...-model%29/7280

I have an All Sports version of it, It was a pretty easy install, and it's amazing the people that ask about it!

I'd say go for it!

Here is a pic of it installed on a Precedent. You won't believe how smooth it works.

I think they look great, but it seems like they would cut into leg/knee room...?

I think it looks great, and is nicer than that little black handle. I think i will go ahead and get one, as a early birthday gift to myself. I think it will only cut into your knee room a little.

More leverage easier to shift, Knee room ?? I have not tried it yet but it looks like it would be easier to switch than the shorter lever?

At any given time, my right knee is over the OEM shifter...

I'd like to drive a cart with a stick installed to feel it out. Hey OhioStateFan - you have another part to order! :)

Since my last post, I took off my All Sports shifter, sold it to a fellow BGW member, and put on a Jake's shifter!
(for reasons I'd prefer not to get into!)

Since this pic, a friend of mine gave me a "pistol grip" handle, (I'm an old Mopar fan)
and, I've been extremely happy with it ever since! Yeah... just a little butt kissing!

Looks great pro1!
