I do not premix on my two G1-powered carts or my Bravo-powered one. Fuel/oil ratio varies between 150:1 and 300:1 depending on engine load. If you have bypassed the governor or otherwise modified your engine, it certainly wouldn't hurt to add a little extra oil to the gas. Make sure your system is in good shape, use a quality oil for 2-stroke AIR-COOLED engines and you shouldn't have any problems:

I've got a G3A, bought last year, I've not put gas nor oil in it since I've puchased it.
Did the governor tight down, get 25 mph out of it, we only run it a couple of miles a weekend, but all is good. |
