Trouble with my yamaha G14
I have a 1996 yamaha it was sitting for a couple years. I cleaned all parts and holes in the carb. it wont run off ide. Valvues are set at 4. It just keeps turning over but no fire. Any ideas?

Check the screw in the float bowl - horizonal, stopper of the float. Check to see if its clear. If not, clear with small pipe cleaner. Also, make sure all of air cleaner is put together and tight - no air leaks. They don't like to run without system hooked up. Plug have fire? Carb have good fuel supply?

Did you replace the gas? When you step on gas, does fuel come out of the fuel pump? To check, remove hose connecting pump to carb. Step on the gas pedal and gasoline should squirt out not drip. Check also if there is spark. No spark, no fire.
