Re: handling
Usually toe out will be vague steering on pavement, toe in will be nervous and dart. I like it straight or toe out a hair because I hate darty. But if the arms have play or spindles are loose that can make it do that as well. Another issue with the newer carts that have articulating rear suspension is they lean, stiffer shocks could help that mostly in the rear. More offset or spacers on the wheels also, even less lift if you can without tire contact. It looks cool but can be unstable. Non ATV rated tires can have weak sidewalls that sway, though with larger size rims it should be minimal.

Re: handling
do you have a picture of the tie rods? I think the problem is either misalignment or the tie rods not being right

Re: handling
Stock tie rods are level, it would need a stand on the spindle that high. However my lift is different and my rods are angled down, it steers fine. It will not turn as sharp as it should but otherwise it works fine.
What I would do is lock the brakes and hold the steering or tie it off/etc, then grab each front tire and see if it moves forward/back, turns left/right, the arms move, etc. Some play in there will screw it up. The guy should have moved the arms apart then you would not need spacers. That is what I want to do, but my excuse is I built my lift in 99 and did not have another one to look at. |

Re: handling
What tire pressure you running? Sometimes I like to try 0/zero toe in. Hate to say, but those front and rear shocks are pretty soft and that "worm shaft/pitman steering" can give a pucker factor when lifted or at high MPH. Good luck

Re: handling
My opinion is its 4" to high with that design of lift. There's just to much movement in all the bolt on parts with that set up.
