all i have 2 change is the fuse from a 10 to a 15 or 20 without changein any wires .

As long as you took both positive and negative leads straight to the battery.

I've never touched my fuses or wires with 55w lights. You are talking about the cart fuse, not one in your lights wiring right?

Funny..this just happened to me after doing the engine swap. My lights worked fine before. Now after the swap, everytime I throw the switch it pops that 10 a fuse, I did however have the lights grounded to the frame and they pull 12amps each...When I get motivated ill run a ground straight to the battery, electrical issues drive me nutz!

I had to ground my frame as the lights don't have any ground wire they ground on the mounting bolt. Once it went bad and the lights dimmed way down I shut them off quick and fixed the ground. Mine dim a little when the engine is running slow, it does not charge enough then. The gen is 15A at higher rpm I just looked it up.
