EZ-GO, will not move unless charger is connected
My cart will not move unless the charger is connected to it. When I disconnect the charger it acts like it wants to move but will not but as soon as I connect the charger it will move fine. Any suggestions? I just replaced four of the six batteries last October, could the other two be bad

Re: EZ-GO, will not move unless charger is connected
The 2 could be bad. what does your voltmeter tell you?
You didn't do the 4 new ones any favors by putting them in with 2 old batteries. New and old batteries have very different charging needs. The new batteries charge quicker than the old ones but all the charger sees is a single reading indicating the pack is not yet up to full voltage. The result is the new batteries get cooked while waiting for the old batteries to charge. Buy 2 more new ones and hope for the best...... check the water in your other 4 new ones. |
