Default Verify my Yamaha Golf Cart

Hey guys, im new on here and i have a Yamaha Golf Cart and I cant verify what model it is or Size engine it is. I plan on rebuilding the cart from the chassis up with a lift kit, fresh piston, rings, rod, oil, clutch, springs belts and well bassically make it a fresh new cart for mudding, offroading and possibly mud fest this year but i cant verify what model it is or the engine. I put a couple pics in below hopefully it helps.

Looks like a G1 ... around 1990 vintage, 2 stroke engine. Lots of potential.

1990 version? Newguy's correct on engine spec's. Your car serial# will be stamped on the rear main frame member were the rear body hinges are, but all G1 Yamaha's from 1982 to 1986 will use the same engine parts. That car was used hard, the steel front attatchment was for pushing a golf course range picker. Good luck on your build and if you can post alot of pix's, we all love "the build"

It has the newer style clutch, so if that's original would't that make it a later model? When did they quit making these? I thought it was 89?

SB 450- you're correct. Sorry for the mis-information. At least I got the model correct!
