Default It has started

Well after much deliberation, I have ordered the first mod set for the G29.

From 3r I ordered a Jakes 6" lift with wheel and tire combo. Should see it next week, hopefully I get chance to install it before heading to Malaysia for a week.

Sounds good. Get us some pics when you get that stuff installed. I'm looking at picking up a G29 to piddle around on with my kids.

Thumbs up Re: It has started

Well what an easy install for the lift kit, thanks to 3R for great service on the kit combo.

I was ready for a challenge to install, but with the most basic hand tools this can be done. Just so happens I have a garage with air tools so it made it even easier. Just puttering around it took about 2 hours of total time, if one was to add some adult beverages it may take slightly longer.

Jakes 6" Spindle lift with, 10" wheels and 22x11x10 tires.

Net lift with tires to the bottom of the floor board was right at 7.5", I am loving it.

Since this is the wifes cart (yeah right), i won't be doing to much more to it other than lights and a radio (seperate battery to be added), those are next.

Cool! I just got a G29 too. I'm starting with rear seats, then lift and wheels/tires.
