Later G22e Alltrax instructions???
Has anyone installed the high amp alltrax contoller on a moric G22e? The instructions seem to be written for the G22e with and G19 with the GE controller.
The splice step seems to make sense for the G19 and first year for G22e. Any help would be appreciated. The directions are very confusing and are written for the G19. |

Re: Later G22e Alltrax instructions???
the small red wire mod is not necessary on g-22. BUT, you Will need to separate the negative battery pack cable from the A2 motor lead. cut the cable that branches from the B- on the controller to the motor. that newly cut cable will need a new terminal attached, so it can be attached to the alltrax M- terminal. You will now find that you have an extra 6 gauge motor cable with no apparent home, it needs to be attached to the alltrax B+ terminal. the moric controller increases or decreases the positive power to the motor to control its speed, alltrax (and Ge,and Curtis) controllers increase or decrease the negative power to controller speed.
if you find that forward is now reverse (goes opposite directions as it should) just switch the smaller F1 and F2 wires. if my description is too confusing, i will draw a diagram if you need. |
