Default Star voltage sensor

I have a weird problem with my 2009 48 Volt Star Cart.

First, the history. I was out of state for two months, and left the Star Cart unplugged. When I got into town, the voltage meter was at abut 1/2 (which I assume is 24 Volts). I took the cart for a spin, and ran it almost all the way down. The voltage meter was flashing, and the turn signals did not work. The motor ran slow, but we made it back to the house.

OK, so I put it on the charger over night. The charger never showed more than 30% full, and the meter on the cart just flashes at the lowest setting. The turn signal does not work. I measured the battery voltage, and I am at 50V. I go for a spin around the block, and the motor runs strong and I can get up to full speed. I come home and measure the voltage and I am at 48V, which seems right.

However, both the charger and the in dash voltmeter seem to read low voltage.

Any clues?

Thanks in advance

Default Re: Star voltage sensor

try charging the cart a few times if charger ever gets to 100 percent to reset gauge in dash u ran it very low it might take 18 plus hours to get ur cart to full charge and ur pack voltage should bet around 52 volts fully charged. if that dont work u either killed ur batts or charger is broke
