Windshield... brackets right or wrong
Was wanting to order a windshield for my cart. After looking at pics on ebay all the windshields look to be flat. If you look in my pic the bottom of my roof brackets have a angle on them. Although my cart is a club car could I have a different model roof brackets. I don't know of anyone around my area with a cart this style to compare it to. I know that the ones on ebay say there 2 piece fold down. This is fine and great but looking at my brackets it looks like a need a 3 piece windshield. Just would like some advice before I order a windshield and it does not fit. Thanks

Re: Windshield... brackets right or wrong
That's interesting, it looks like someone bent the front supports when they installed the cargo box. All CC supports are straight.
Could you maybe bend them back straight and then get a windshield? |

Re: Windshield... brackets right or wrong
Still scratching my head At the bottom of my windshield/roof bracket from were it bolts to the cowl its about 1 foot at an angle and then it goes up to the roof. When I got the cart there was no bed on it. Everything was bolted the way it is now except for at the bed, had some 2x6 screwed to the rear roof support If the front roof brackets have been bent somebody really done a pretty good job, there equally the same on both sides. So if they are bent I guess I need to buy a new set before I order a windshield. I thought maybe someone put a set of EZGO,Yamaha, or some other brackets on the cart. When I got this cart it was in bad shape from the wonderful owners before me, so its all a learning curve.

Re: Windshield... brackets right or wrong
Thanks Crash, I might be making my own windshield. The back bracket I installed on the box, I knew it wasn't right but just tried to get everything looking to be level with the rest of cart. Also the back of the seats, they ain't right either. I'm over 6' 4" and I made up some brackets for the seat to lay back more than stock, I still feel like I'm eating the steering wheel. Check out the side view the seats are almost is far back as the axle, ha,ha. When I ride in the rain my head sticks out behind the top

Re: Windshield... brackets right or wrong
I'm almost positive the brackets are swapped front to back.

Re: Windshield... brackets right or wrong
hey Gorno the front brackets have the tab welded on them to bolt to cowl. I know there black but they are the aluminum brackets(rattle can). I know the right person with a welder can cut the tabs off the brackets and reweld to the other brackets. If this was done I would like to meet the guy because he is a heck of a aluminum welder.
