Cleaning inside engine case - 295cc Robin

Got my engine torn apart (broken rod) and need to give everything a good cleaning before I rebuild. I haven't mic'd the crank journals yet but they look good, so I'm hoping that will be fine. Whats the best way to clean out inside the engine casing? Will spray-can engine degreaser and a pressure washer damage anything? Don't want anything to rust up either.

wash it dry it and oil it , you may want to clean up the crank with some muratic acid to remove any aluminum residue , just dont let the parts air dry after rinsing , and for general cleaning i like to use dawn dish liquid

Is it ok to do that with the bearings still in the case? Rebuild kit doesn't come with bearings and I wasn't going to take those out.
