Default Carb adjustment 1978 marathon

Cleaned carb on cart ,does anyone know how many turns to set screw for high speed. I set it at 1and 1/2turns.also cleaned gas tank replaced with new proper gas mix.before had to run with choke closed 1/2.

You should have a BV-18 carb. The screw is the pilot screw and should be set to 1-turn out as per the manual. Slight adjustment may be necessary.

Thanks,when removed carb screw was 2 1/2turns out wouldn't open up.at 1 1/2 ran better will readjust tomorrow.
