Re: help with DS full speed reverse
By removing the black wire resister (bypass) you should have full speed reverse. Good luck with the cow !!

Re: help with DS full speed reverse
It will probably come handy for running away from the bull as well....
but just disconnecting the black wire will give you no reverse at all... You need to disconnect white and green and connect them together. |

Re: help with DS full speed reverse
You are right, I read your "remove" as in the "disconnect" the wire from the previous post, I did not notice you said remove the resistor.
The easiest way to by-pass the resistor in the black wire is to just unplug and connect the green and white wires together. |

Re: help with DS full speed reverse
I am trying to follow the directions here but I am confused. Does anyone have a picture of how it is wired when finished? I can find all the wires but I am worried I am going to hook it all up wrong and cause big problems. Thanks for your help!
By the way I am not really looking for more speed in reverse just more torque. Not sure if this will actually help but its worth a shot. I use my cart to move some heavy stuff around and it does fine in forward but seems sluggish in reverse. |

P.S. - sorry for the confusion earlier in this thread when i posted about how to do this by removing the black wire only - that method is for the 36 volt early solid state carts, which have slightly different wiring. |
