Default Alltrax xct 400 pds blink codes

I just installed a Alltrax 400 I purchased from Scottyb on my 2003 PDS. I'm getting a blink code of one green, one red twice which is short circuit/output fault I think. I'm back with the same problem I had with my old controller, no forward or reverse. I'm stumped at this point and also I have no Internet from the hurricane that hit here, I'm in Southeast Florida. It's hard to research this on my phone so any help would be greatly appreciated! Also my first time using tap a talk so not sure if I'm using it right.

If you are reading the code correctly, it may be indicating a (motor) field wire short. This is somewhat common in this cart. IT could be the thing that took your old controller down. Luckily the Alltrax has reverse polarity protection and a blink code system to indicate the trouble area. Pull the rear passenger side battery and inspect the wires to the motor for a short where they rub against the battery frame upright in the same corner.
See pic of my problem years ago below. There is a chance you are having the same trouble.

Thanks I'll check it in the morning. I also replaced the A1 and A2 cables with 2awg as well as the other high-voltage cables.

I checked the wires and they look good. I also checked the ITS and it was reading 7.6v before I pushed the pedal. When I pushed the pedal when the solenoid clicks I was reading 6.0v. This is with the key on and in F. Not sure what to check next.

Seems the throttle is off a bit.

XCT Control: B- to the small white wire in the 4pin plug on PDS cart. Just sitting there with everything powered should be 8-10V and at full pedal press 6-5V. Measuring between the black and white wire while the controller is powered up should result in a standing voltage of 10-12V

You might flip the run/tow to tow & disconnect the controller F1 and F2 wires and then power back up and see if the fault code disappears. Not sure if it will allow power up without the F wires but if it does we know the motor may be the trouble.

I'm getting 9.4 V at the 4pin with the key switch off. Key switch on in F is reading 7.6V. Pedal fully pressed I'm getting 5.4V.

I'm not sure which black and white wire you're talking about?

With F1 and F2 disconnected I powered it back up and put the key switch on and in F with the pedal pressed I got 1 green & 5 red blinks.

I'm not sure if that tells us anything. Did the motor run good before the install?

No my daughter parked it in front of the garage and a hour later I went to pull it in and no go. That's how my problem started. Here is the original post if I copy and pasted it right.

Have cleaned or eliminated the 4 pin plug between the pedal and the controller. Your ITS reading not exactly what it should be and this connector is a notorious trouble spot. You can replace it with 4 but connectors or better solder and shrink wrap.

There is a gremlin hiding in the cart. wring out the run tow switch and the key switch. Make sure you have continuity flowing everywhere you should... is the solenoid clicking consistently?

Remove all leads from the motor and check for unwanted continuity between any F and any A terminal
