Our charger is blinking green so I assume its charging fine, but the charger is also VERY hot.

Is this normal? How long should it take to charge usually?
Yes it is normal and based on the charge level, could be 16 hours.

The blinking light meant you were at 10% charge capacity. Solid will mean you are at 20%.

Ok thanks...I didn't realize the charging took so long! So is it a bad idea to disconnect charging in the middle of a charge and use it? Let it fully charge before next use?

If the E.R.I.C. charger is just blinking one green lower light does this mean its charging slowly? Is there any fix or tricks to get faster charges?

I've read that when the bottom light is solid green and top green light is blinking that is highest rate charge. That isn't happening for me, I'm just plugged into a normal wall jack in my garage.

It is working just as it should. Do not fret, and no you do not want to trick it. That charger has a 91% efficiency and that is good. It is the best charger for your pack and if you let it work as it should, you will ensure yourself a long pack life....

PS- If you see ole DW up there roaming the streets, tell him I said hey!

Thank you. So my charger only blinking means it's in "low" charging. Does <80% just refer to how much the battery is charged or something else?

It's been 4.5 hours now and the battery indicator still hasn't budged! Boooo
