1988 CC fuel issue
My dad has a 1988 CC, completely stock. When the gas pedal is pressed it will rev, but when the engone is cold it turns over for 10-12 seconds before it takes off. Is this a fuel pump issue or something else?? once the cart is warm it goes as soon as the gas is pressed, issue only occurs if motor is cold.
Also where is the cheapest place to get replacement brake pads for a 1988 CC?? Thx |

Re: 1988 CC fuel issue
It may be nothing more than a little varnish in the
idle circuit of the carb and it takes a bit to pull fuel to start. Remember pumping the carb on cold mornings to start your old v8. |
