Ready for snow

The weakness of the 50 buck HF winch seems to be in the remote control receiver. From that I've heard, the guys that hard wired them like them.

CCF you're right, it's wireless. I velcroed the remote to the center of my steering wheel! Who knows maybe I'll get lucky yeah right! we are talking harbor freight

The 3500lb has a wireless handle bar remote and handheld remote and so far so good. I caught it on sale and with a 20% off coupon and I think it only ended up being $80

Looks good! The only I would be mindful of is any side load on the plow. With the arms being so long it really gives the plow a lot of leverage. In light snow there should be no problem at all.

Where you will see some issues and potentially stress or break your mounting point is if you catch one side of the plow on something or if you have the plow blade angled one way or the other and come into a snow bank with a bit of momentum.

Again by looking at your pictures, if you just get some light snow then I think it will work perfect!

If you wanted to make at really strong all you have to do is shorten the arms and you will be laughing!

Golf carts are awesome for plowing, we plow all winter long with ours and we have some big properties!

I thought this would be a good start. Figured start long and shorten if need be. I wanted to be wider than the tires (54") and the plow ended up 64". There again to shorten it will be easy. I have an 80' driveway and figured this would beat the ole snow shovel

warranty all day. they work good though, I had a 2500
