1999 Club Car Electric running very slowwwww
I am a first time golf cart owner and I purchased a used 1999 electric club car. The first few times on the cart -it ran great! Then I noticed the charge wasn't holding. I checked the batteries, all showed 12 volts, then I load tested and identified a weak battery. I have since replaced the battery, test fine w/load. I charged the cart overnight and attempted to drive the cart. Very slow in reverse, and it ran forward also slow. It seems to have power as it will go up a grade but it is crawling. Again, first time cart owner - what should I look at to get this cart moving again? I appreciate your help....Thanks!

What is your voltage dropping to while you are trying to drive the cart? As you found one bad battery you may very well have another that is bad but able to show voltage. What type of batteries are in use including the one one you replaced? IE Golf Cart, Marine Deep Cycle, Car Battery etc....

The batteries all 4 deep cycle marine /rv pro by autocraft. They all test 12v under load.

Re: 1999 Club Car Electric running very slowwwww
While you may very well have some other problem causing the slowwwww operation BUT sad to say that those battery are a problem marine deep cycle battery will not last very long in golf cart use. Carts pull heavy deep amps that these "hybrid starting batteries" were just never designed to provide it causes the plates to warp in very short order....

Assuming the batteries are fine - would you suggest attempting to reset the OBC.?

Re: 1999 Club Car Electric running very slowwwww
To be honest I don't know enough about specific models namely older ones to know if they have a OBC or not. So go ahead and disconnect the main negative cable for a couple of minutes that will reset an OBC if indeed you have one. Plug in the charger and let charge overnight. After 12 to 16 hours is the charger turned off? Take a reading of your overall pack voltage is it upwards of 51 volts? If so take it out and try riding it with the meter still hooked up and report what your under load voltage is dropping to if it is dropping down to or under 42 volts your batteries are toast....
