Re: 48 volt electric cary speed
Dan, start with the basics.
Charge the cart fully. Let it rest for 12 hours and measure your pack voltage and post it here. Check your battery water level, fill as needed with distilled water. Check your cables, make sure they are all tight and clean. After you do the things above it will be easier to help you out. |

I charged the battery pack yesterday, I let it sill for 11 hours and the voltage was 50.1
All the levels of the water are correct. The cable are right but might could use a little cleaning. Maybe use baking powder and vinegar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 48 volt electric cary speed
50.1 is a bit low for a fresh charge. Your barely above 80% state of charge.
It is likely your batteries are going or gone. If all of your high current wires are good and clean, measure your battery pack voltage under load while driving the cart. Bad batteries will limit your speed, but there is no way to know what the chinese controller setting for top speed is. Could be 13 mph could be 23 mph. Anyway, check your battery voltage drop under load and post it. |

Re: 48 volt electric cary speed
Oh, its just baking soda you want. No vinegar needed, theres enough acid on the batteries and cables, no need to add more LOL.

Ok. Charged the cart, then let it sit for 10 hours. Fully charged was 50.4. Under a normal load going up no hills was 47.8 and then going up a steepish hill was 46.6

Re: 48 volt electric cary speed
I would say your batteries are probably ok. Your speed is probably limited by the controller but its chineses so who knows what it is set for.
