Half speed reverse.
Love the 48 volt conversion. It's fast.
My concern is that, in reverse, it goes just as fast. 22mph. It also tends to jump pretty quick in reverse when the throttle is pressed initially. Fearful of my daughter, or my girlfriend pressing the the pedal to back up, and jumping into something inadvertently. I'm wondering what to do? Is the 1/2 speed reverse automatically supposed to be engaged in reverse on my SPM48500EZ, or do I need to somehow connect another wire or program it?  |

I'm not an expert on that controller (or any controller), but on my XCT, reverse can be programmed to what ever I want.

You should be able to program reverse to any speed you want with the PC program.

Half speed reverse is a check box in the spm control. The program software is a free download here > http://alltraxinc.com/Products_SPM.html
