Does the positive battery cable leading to the solenoid need a fuse on the battery end? If so what size?

The fuse is not manditory, but you can put one on. I got either a 200 or 250 amp. (My controller is a 500, go figure)

Ps also, the fuse can go anywhere in the battery series.

There is only 1 manufacture that suggests a fuse. I have seen that manufacture's control go up in flames and the fuse didn't pop, so no, I don't think you need one either

Run/Tow switch plugs into J3 on the controller.

Sorry I should have specified. I need the diagram of the wires going into the switch side.
