Spring upgrade kit question?

Thanks for the tutorial. Once you get the clutch off of the shaft, Does the 2 sheaves of the clutch come apart? I may go that route now that I know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks again pizzamaker.

you need to remove the snap ring [just keep in mind that there is a spring behind this ramp cup]

One more, When you get it back together, you have to turn the spring itself 120 degrees, or put the ramp back in and rotate the entire thing 120 degrees?

hook the spring in the holes and rotate the cup and push on the spline

this is what you need - the belt, the dealer may be cheaper

Gotcha buddy. I would o ahead and buy that, but the belt is the wrong one for my cart. I just wish I could feel the differece between the 28 and 36. Was there a realy good improvement in the upgrade? I know I read the thread ruredy started, but did you feel a great improvement?

i did the e-bay post as a reference, and YES the upgrade is well worth the money, i don't remember but i think ruredy talked about what size belt to run with the 28* ramp cup.

Hey guys I don't get the 120 deg rotation. This inner sheave rotates, so i don't see how you could pre load the spring. Unless you saying this to get it on the correct side of the ramp?????
