Is there any marking on the sensor to identify what the three wires are for or which wire goes to which terminal? It would be helpful to connect the sensor and measure the voltage on each of the three wires with respect to B-. In other words, connect the black lead of your voltmeter to pack negative (B-) and leave it there. Use the red lead of you meter to measure the voltage on each of the three wires with the cart in forward while you step on the throttle. I suspect that you will find that one of the voltages is constant (power), one is zero (ground) and the third should vary with throttle position (signal). If I were to guess, I would expect the black wire to be ground, the pink wire to be power and the orange wire is signal.
