Default Ezgo hub size

Are there multiple sizes of hubs for the rear axle on EZ GO TXT’s?

I always thought they were all the same size, but I got a cart that had one on it that was way too big in the center so I went to my local cart shop and bought another one and it is also way too big in the center!

This is a 2002 series drive TXT with a “spicer” rear axle, if that helps.

Thanks,
Luke

There was one ST450 or such that actually had the bigger gas axles in it. Electric being about 7/8th diameter and Gas being about 1-1/8th

This axle isn’t 7/8. It seems like closer to 3/4 or 1/2 inch! Strange...

I have a Spicer differential that has the same “larger” axels

EzGo part # 616025. Haven’t been able to find what applications it was for

Along with the different axel diameter, the orientation of the ring and pinion is different that a standard txt rear end

My axles aren’t larger. They seem smaller.

Luke,

Here is a link to a post when I found the rearend I spoke of.

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...i-find-id.html

Using EzGo shop manuals, we were unable to determine what it was used in,

Hope I’m not adding to your confusion. But the hubs were considerably larger
than my 98 Txt hubs
