Default Smoking EH29C Robin

Can Anyone Give Me Any Clues As To Why My Eh29c Robin Engine Smokes To The Point Of Fouling Plugs Regularly After It Sets For A Period Of Time---not As It Is Running. Starts & Runs Just Fine In My 1995 Jacobsen Model Gxj-810 Dump Cart (84017-2815). This 295cc, 4 Stroke Engine Is The Same As Found In Ezgo Txt Carts.
Thinking Valve Seals Or Rings As Breather Is Not Clogged.
Also Having A Very Difficult Time Finding Anyone Who Can Supply Parts For The Robin Eh29c Engine & Hate To Open It Up Until I Find Parts Source. Can You Direct Me To A Good Source?

I doubt it's valve guides seals, but anythings possible.
Is the cart lifted?
You need to adjust the valves and run a compression test on it.
I think I could safely say that any of the site sponsors can get you parts for it.

Cart is not lifted.
Will adjust valves & run compression, as well as check timing belt to make sure it hasn't jumped a cog on belt. Looking for engine re-build manual at the moment.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had previous experience with a smoking Robin engine and probable causes.
Thanks ruredy.

are you sure that there is only 1.5 qts oil in it? 90% of the time two much oil in the engine is the reason.

Engine manual is in the tech section. Doubt it's jumped timing, the belt breaks 99.9% of the time, instead. my guess would be rings, stuck oil rings, something along that line.

that is what i see around here, customer change their own oil and pour the whole 2 qts in there.

Also has the governor been adjusted 2 far, if it has you may have overreved the eng to where you have hurt the rings.

Too much oil in the crankcase will allow the oil to flow through the vent tube to the carb. With the oil in the carb you will produce a puffy white cloud of smoke, this will also assist in the fowling of spark plugs. Don't over fill the oil, 1.5.qts only. then I would check the valves adjustment and run a compression test. EZGO had a cam/valve issue in the fleet cars around 2000. I believe these were resolved. Valves contstantly went out of adj. causing smoking.
