US Battery 'US 8VGHC XC2' (High Capacity) or Trojan T-875 Batteries? Autofill or NO?

Looking at (6) 8v either the following:

US Battery 'US 8VGHC XC2' (High Capacity) or Trojan T-875 Batteries?

I've read US Battery require different charging profile; would the Summit II onboard charger take care of those high capacity versions or is there a more preferred charger?

OR

Should I go with Trojan T-875's?

Seems like the US Battery have better specs but since I'm buying a new charger as well; I would love to hear about what other's would most recommend - battery & charger wise?

Also, what are other's thoughts about auto-waterer's like Pro-Fill etc?

Skip the fill system, doing the job manually is more accurate (you can physically see the fluid) & cleaner (they often overfill), also read this before considering a fill system.

I personally prefer Trojans over US battery, I think the US tends to be more messy.

I agree, I always put T875 in my personal and test carts. This battery is the battery by which we judge all others.

I'd skip the autofill system also.

You can't go wrong with either battery but US Battery 8V were good to me. I had zero problems out of mine and a few others here on BGW will say the same. With proper maintenance and using the correct charge profile that Summit II charger provides, they'll last you a long time.

I actually ended up purchasing the 'US8VGC XC2' batteries yesterday as I could not pass up on the $110. each price. (I did not buy the the HC version as the seller stated those are the one's that actually get messy; since he stated they have more lead in same size battery which causes more displacement).

I'm hoping that with proper care they give me years of service. Also, the link below was an interesting read regarding their comparison to Trojans. I have heard also that Trojan has been making some cost cuts as of late in their manufactuing processes; although I really am not 100% sure of how and where?

Also, I just ordered a Summit II charger in the 1050w version. Does anyone know which exact charging profile I should use once I receive it? The firm I purchased it from stated to use it with the default profile; but I just wanted to be sure of this since I wasn't exactly buying that line.
