Default I need someone with a ruler + electric Marathon

If someone could help me with the lengths of my 14 cables I would be grateful. Also if they look wrong LMK how they should be.

5 of those are for battery to battery
(I believe 2 of these are 9", 2 are 16" and 1 is 21")

1 of those is from the Pack + to the solenoid

4 of all these go to the motor
1 from the F/R right side to S1
1 from F/R left side to S2
1 from controller B+ to A1
1 from controller A2 to A2

4 into Controller
1 from pack - to controller (B-)
1 from F/R top to controller (A2)
1 from F/R bottom controller (M-)
1 from solenoid to controller B+

If you go to the post on solenoid wiring where you posted this picture, you would see my comment about this diagram being incorrect. It is missing the cable from the solenoid to the controller "BAT +" . You do mention this cable in your post.

When I measure a cart to make cables I use a cloth seamstress tape. No chance of arcing across the batteries like with a metal tape.

You just need to take measurements... battery positioning, controller type, and cable routing is going to be different from cart to cart

I don't have batteries. And I don't have all the original cables.

Well dern.... since you’re running make believe batteries... just run some make believe cables... if it was me... I’d make believe they were 1AWG so I didn’t have any make believe bottlnecking issues

All kidding aside... you really do need to measure them so that none of them wind up any longer than they have to be

The cart is stock oem. So the cables should be the standard size.

Get a diagram and a cardboard box the size of a battery. Draw the + and minus post on it and move it around to see where the cables need to go.

I just went out and checked on my 36v Marathon. For the battery wiring you will need 2 - 9" and 3 - 21".

Now I'm nervous. I was allocating 2 X 10", 1 X 12", 1 X 14" & 1 X 17" for the batteries. I do have 2 extra 24" cables, and will swap some around if necessary.

you should have it covered with the extra 24" cables to get her running. Ezgo does not list the cable lengths in the part manual I have, just cable numbers.
