Thanks Guys! I will replace cables first and then get a new f&r switch. Then who knows, maybe get crazy with it!

Use two wrenches on the motor bolts/studs, and make sure the studs in the motor do NOT turn. Clean the studs very well with a wire brush and soak them with some PB blaster before you remove them
